Non-emergencies
If you are worried about the safety or welfare of a child and are satisfied there is no immediate danger, please report a concern about a child to Northamptonshire Children's Trust.

Drug abuse
With the right help and support it's possible for you to get drug-free and stay that way. If you need treatment for drug addiction, you're entitled to NHS care.

Alcohol addiction
Realising you have a problem with alcohol is the first big step to getting help.
You may need help if:
- you often feel the need to have a drink
- you think your drinking is causing health issues
- you get into trouble or have problems because of your drinking
- other people warn you about how much you're drinking
STAR
STAR stands for Support, Treatment, Advice and Recovery, provides a single front door to accessing drug and alcohol support services across Northamptonshire.
STAR can be used by clients, family members of those with drug and alcohol problems and professionals who work with clients with substance misuse issues.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. AA is a free self-help group with meetings across Northamptonshire.
Al-Anon Family Groups are for the families and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. Family Groups meet regularly across Northamptonshire.
